Job Description

Ultimate Staffing is seeking an Assistant Training Manager of Assembly to join a client in Fort Worth. This is a full-time, direct hire position. The position is 100% onsite.

This person will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive training programs for our Final Assembly Department. This role ensures that employees at all levels receive the training needed to understand their responsibilities, enhance their skills, and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards. Your work will be critical in building a highly skilled workforce that supports operational goals and drives continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Program Development

  • Design, implement, and manage training programs for manufacturing personnel, including new hire onboarding, technical skills development, safety protocols, and ongoing employee growth.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and create targeted training solutions.
  • Develop standardized training materials aligned with organizational goals and expectations.

2. Employee Onboarding & Continuous Development

  • Oversee onboarding programs to ensure new employees are prepared to perform effectively and safely.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to Final Assembly employees to foster professional growth and process understanding.
  • Collaborate with section managers to identify cross-training opportunities and build a flexible workforce.
  • Conduct skills assessments to support optimal employee placement within the department.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through performance metrics, post-training reviews, and employee feedback to drive continuous improvement.

3. Safety & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate documentation of training activities, certifications, and compliance records.
  • Ensure all training programs meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Manufacturing, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in training management or a similar role, with proficiency in training tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety practices, and quality systems (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to analyze data and track workforce performance.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple training programs simultaneously.
